AI-TEK Instruments (formerly Airpax), manufactures a complete line of speed sensors, tachometers, speed indicators, variable reluctance speed sensors and Hall Effect Sensors to measure rotary speed.
AI-TEK Passive Magnetic speed sensors have relied on variable reluctance magnetic technology for many decades. With few components and no moving parts, the passive speed sensor can operate reliably in adverse temperature, shock and vibration conditions.
The AI-TEK Hall Effect magnetic speed sensors can detect each change in target movement, regardless of speed, from near zero to 15 kHz frequency range. These sensors generate a steady output frequency pulse train proportional to target speed.
